Barry Donadio Endorsed by Gordana Schifanelli, Former Lt. Governor Candidate for Maryland.

On May 18th 2026, the former Conservative Republican Candidate for Lt. Governor of Maryland Gordana Schifanelli endorsed Barry Donadio for Queen Anne’s County Commissioner in District 3.

Yet another huge endorsement for Barry Donadio’s race in Queen Anne’s County, Maryland for Commissioner of District 3. An area that encompasses the eastern part of Kent Island and Grasonville, Maryland.

This endorsement of Donadio followed endorsements from Congressman Andy Harris, Former Governor if Maryland Bob Ehrlich, former Chairman of the MDGOP Dirk Haire and Conservative Republican Senator Johnny Ray Salling.

Donadio appears to be leading a very strong campaign as of May 18th 2026. He was elected to the Queen Anne’s County Republican Central Committee in 2014 and successfully served a four year term. Donadio has served as the Sergeant at Arms of the Maryland Republican Party since 2017. In 2024, he received over 50,000 votes in Maryland’s 1st congressional district and was elected as an Alternate Delegate to the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. He pledged his vote for Donald Trump to become the Republican Party’s nominee for President of the United States.

Barry Donadio’s objectives were clear when he started his “We Come First” campaign. He wants to put citizens of Queen Anne’s County first and foremost. Many residents feel that land developers and special interest take precedence over the residents quality of life. Donadio pledges to put an end to that.
