Dear Republican Queen Anne’s County Voter,


My name is Barry Donadio, and I am asking for your vote for Queen Anne’s County Commissioner, District 3, on June 23, 2026. I am in no way related to the prominent developer family in the county (although our names are similar). I am also not a real estate investor. I own Public Security LLC and work as an international TV news commentator.

I have dedicated my life to public service, leadership, and protecting our communities. My background includes service as a former member of the U.S. Secret Service, U.S. Army Infantry, U.S. Army Military Police, and U.S. Air Force Security Police. Those experiences taught me the importance of integrity, accountability, discipline, and always putting people first.


Queen Anne’s County deserves strong leadership that listens to residents, puts them first, protects taxpayers, works to preserve the values and quality of life that make our county special, and supports law enforcement and first responders. I believe local government should be fully transparent, fiscally responsible, and focused on practical solutions that benefit working families, seniors, veterans, farmers, and small businesses. I would never vote to give myself retiree health benefits after serving only 12 years in office. I will not vote in favor of increasing my salary while serving as your commissioner. I will vote against a second DD on Cox Neck Road and against multiple locations of the same franchise on Kent Island.



As your commissioner, I will work to:

  • • Fix and NOT add to the TRAFFIC CRISIS.

  • • STOP OVERDEVEOLPMENT & promote responsible growth.

  • • Cut property tax for seniors and veterans.

  • • Back our schools and teachers (My daughter is a substitute teacher in QAC)

  • • PUT OUR COUNTY RESIDENTS FIRST over developers and special interest.
